For us, the Tenuta Torciano Amarone della Valpolicella 2021 is not simply a full-bodied red wine; it is the guardian of a centuries-old tradition that we reinterpret with a distinctive and unmistakable style. While legend has it that Amarone was born from a fortunate “forgotten” wine in the cellar, our production is instead an act of meticulous and intentional dedication.
We hand-select the finest clusters of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, allowing them to dry naturally for one hundred days—a suspended moment in time during which each grape concentrates the purest essence of the land. The twenty-four months of aging in fine wood, followed by bottle refinement, are not mere technical steps, but a ritual that we at Torciano devote to the birth of a masterpiece.
