During the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the 236-foot (72m) megayacht SOLO welcomed charter brokers from around the world for a wine tasting with food, magic, entertainment — and plenty of fun.
Aboard SOLO
A corner of Italy in Fort Lauderdale
Tenuta Torciano took part in the SOLO Yacht presentation to customers and brokers for the new season, pouring a wine tasting aboard the yacht for every guest of the evening. The tasting, led by Emanuele Giachi through the estate's best labels, ran from Brunello di Montalcino to the Super Tuscans Baldassarre, Cavaliere and Bartolomeo, from Vernaccia di San Gimignano to Prosecco Torciano and some of the finest reserves.

Wine and helicopters over Tuscany
From the deck to the vineyard
The event, built to show the lifestyle aboard SOLO during private cruises around the world, was a chance to present wine school events on megayachts by Torciano and helicopter transfers to San Gimignano, so guests on holiday can feel the thrill of flying over Tuscany before lunch and a wine tasting in the vineyard or in the private rooms of Tenuta Torciano Winery.
The goal is simple: let people discover the world of wine and Tuscan tradition while they're on holiday aboard their yachts, with private tastings on board or experiences in the cellar. By helicopter, the estate can also reach seaside resorts such as Elba Island, Portofino, Portocervo, Montecarlo, Amalfi and other custom routes.
