Visiting Tenuta Torciano is an exclusive experience that immerses guests in the world of wine. The flight

A helicopter ride over Tuscany

We created this experience for anyone who wants to discover the most authentic Tuscany, on a helicopter flight that leaves directly from your accommodation. Flying over the surrounding hills you get a 360° view of the vineyards of Chianti and its medieval villages, from San Gimignano and Certaldo to Monteriggioni and Siena, with its famous historical monuments.

You'll land at the exclusive Tenuta Torciano winery, just 5 minutes from San Gimignano, 30 minutes from Siena and 35 minutes from Florence, for a guided tour, tastings and typical Tuscan dishes. Walking through the vineyards, you'll discover the varieties grown and the story behind the estate's wines. For lunch, you'll enjoy a meal in the vineyard, where owner Pierluigi Giachi will welcome you personally with a glass of Champagne. When it's time to leave, you'll board the helicopter again for the return flight to your accommodation.

A panoramic tour takes place over the city of Florence, Siena or Pisa, depending on the meeting point, admiring the buildings and historical monuments.

Into the Chianti hills

You then head towards the Chianti region, flying over hills and green valleys dotted with medieval villages and castles, including Certaldo, Colle Val d'Elsa, Monteriggioni, Castellina and Greve in Chianti.

San Gimignano's towers

Past Chianti, you discover the beautiful town of San Gimignano and its famous towers, with a skyline view perfect for photos.

At Tenuta Torciano

The tour continues with a stop at Tenuta Torciano Winery, where winemaker and owner Pierluigi Giachi welcomes you personally with a glass of Champagne for a tour of the cellars and surrounding vineyards, followed by a delicious lunch in the vineyard, or in a private room, that he personally follows.

The winery experience includes a vertical Wine Tasting of 13 Tuscan wines, including personal vintage reserves from 1996 and 1997 and limited editions.

The four-course lunch

The lunch is matched to the tasting and to the Wine School: an appetizer of Tuscan salami and cheeses with typical bruschetta, Ribollita Toscana with vegetables and fine extra virgin olive oil, lasagna with truffles, stewed wild boar with selected olives, and Cantuccini with dessert wine. Among the wines poured are the famous Brunello di Montalcino, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti Classico and Super Tuscans, chosen to teach guests how to choose and taste wine once they're back home.

At the end of the winery experience, you're escorted back to the helicopter for your accommodation.
