After being present at the last Monaco Grand Prix, on May 26, Tenuta Torciano was back in Monaco for the 3rd edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, one of the most important annual exhibitions for the world of superyachts.
The event, held in the iconic setting of Port Hercules, brings together yacht owners, future superyacht buyers or charterers, and decision-makers from the yachting and luxury industries, all celebrating the superyacht lifestyle. Every year, 120 extraordinary one-off superyachts are on display, of which 40 new launches make their worldwide debut.
Aboard one of these, the SOLO Yacht of Tankoa Yachts — made in Italy — and Northrop & Johnson, Tenuta Torciano had the honor of taking part as an official sponsor at the opening aperitif of this luxury boat, over 70 meters long, experiencing the hospitality, meeting the crew and bringing a corner of Italy with the best wines in the collection.
During the evening, Pierluigi Giachi, together with his son Emanuele, presented the company's best labels to numerous guests, including brokers and possible yacht buyers, alongside the magnificent dishes of starred Italian chef Gionata Rossi.

Wines poured on the SOLO Yacht
Guests tasted the Brunello Gioiello Riserva, Bolgheri Gioiello, Terrestre Super Tuscan, Bartolomeo, Cavaliere, Baldassarre, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and the sparkling Rosè Torciano. But the main goal, beyond the tasting, was to present the two exclusive services the company had recently launched: a Private Wine Tasting on board superyachts, and a Helicopter Pick Up for a full day immersed in the green of Tenuta Torciano in San Gimignano, with a return flight directly to the yacht or to the nearest heliport.

Helicopter Wine Tour
The Helicopter Wine Tour lets guests discover Tuscany with a helicopter flight leaving directly from the yacht. Flying over the surrounding hills, they see the Chianti vineyards and medieval villages such as San Gimignano, Certaldo and Monteriggioni from the sky, before reaching the city of Florence and its historical monuments. For lunch they are taken to the Tenuta Torciano winery in San Gimignano, to enjoy a meal in the vineyard, or in one of the estate's scenic rooms, together with a vertical wine tasting of the best wines and special reserves of the company. It's a perfect experience for couples, families, friends, romantic getaways and special occasions during an open-sea holiday, ending with a return flight to the yacht or the nearest heliport.
Wine School Experience on Private Yachts
The Wine School Experience on Private Yachts lets guests take part in an exclusive tasting aboard their own yacht or superyacht, through the Tenuta Torciano Wine School. Developed by Pierluigi Giachi, a winemaker for over 13 generations, it's a singular approach to wine education: Tenuta Torciano is a premiere Wine School winery that organizes wine events worldwide for private customers, clubs and luxury hotels, and this year decided to bring its tailor-made private events directly onto guests' yachts. The event lasts about 2 hours, with 10 different prestigious wines tasted alongside the best wine and food pairings, for a relaxing, joyful experience with the Torciano staff.
Our goal is to help people discover the world of wine and Tuscan traditions while on holiday aboard their yachts, in the middle of the sea, with private wine tastings on board or an exciting experience in the cellar. By helicopter, we can also quickly reach seaside resorts such as Elba Island, Portofino, Porto Cervo, Montecarlo, Amalfi and many other customized routes.
