On February 23rd, 2014, Tenuta Torciano brought its Wine Class Tour to New Jersey, sharing a taste of San Gimignano with friends and wine lovers on the East Coast.

Tuscany travels to New Jersey
Each year, the Giachi family sets out from San Gimignano to bring the story of their estate directly to wine lovers across the United States. These Wine Class Tours are intimate gatherings, hosted in private clubs, restaurants, and homes, where the focus is not just on pouring wine but on sharing a way of life rooted in Tuscan tradition since 1720.
The New Jersey stop was no exception. Guests gathered to hear about San Gimignano's medieval towers, the estate's long history, and the philosophy behind Torciano's winemaking, all while tasting the wines that carry that story in every glass.

Wines and flavors of Tuscany
A typical Torciano Wine Class evening moves through the estate's signature range: the crisp, mineral notes of Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the bright fruit of Chianti and Chianti Classico, and the structure and depth of Brunello di Montalcino. Alongside these, guests often encounter the estate's Super Tuscan blends, each paired thoughtfully with Tuscan food to highlight how wine and cuisine speak the same language.
It is this pairing of wine, food, and storytelling that defines the spirit of these evenings, an invitation to slow down, taste with intention, and feel, if only for a few hours, transported to the hills of San Gimignano.
