Many events are scheduled for the Tenuta Torciano Wine School. Among the most recent, we want to relive a beautiful night at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh, PA, last October.
Pierluigi Giachi, together with his staff, had the honor of presenting the best Torciano wines during a wonderful four-course dinner on the top floor of the prestigious club.
It was another Italian Wine Dinner, carefully organized by the Rivers Club chefs for a perfect wine and food pairing. In a warm, cozy atmosphere with an all-Italian palette, guests tasted a selection of the best wines by Tenuta Torciano: from Prosecco Millesimato Extra Dry as a welcome drink, to Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti, Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino, up to our famous Super Tuscans Baldassarre, Cavaliere, Bartolomeo and Terrestre. For this special occasion, the Bolgheri Red from the Gioiello line was also presented, and much appreciated by guests. Every dish was seasoned with our gourmet products — Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Old Selected Balsamic Vinegar, Aromatic Truffle Oil and Hot Pepper Oil — while dessert was paired with our Vin Beato dessert wine. Throughout the dinner, Pierluigi explained tasting technique, glass etiquette and the best combinations between the wines and the dishes served, sharing Italian food and wine culture in an informal, fun and professional way.
