The experience begins with a private helicopter flight that starts directly from your accommodation. After check-in and the mandatory safety briefing, the proposal is in your hands: you'll fly over the Chianti vineyards, the Tuscan countryside and the cities of Florence, Siena, Monteriggioni and San Gimignano for an incredible panoramic tour. As soon as the helicopter lands at Tenuta Torciano Winery in San Gimignano, owner Pierluigi Giachi greets you with a welcome toast, a visit of the estate and a lunch in the vineyard with wine tasting.
At the end of lunch you're accompanied to Torre Chigi, one of the most striking towers in San Gimignano, also known as the Manhattan of the Middle Ages, where Tenuta Torciano's experience staff sets the perfect scene for you to pop the big question. Surrounded by breathtaking views and a glass of Champagne, a professional photographer immortalizes the moment with the sunset in the background. Good to know before you fly
Tenuta Torciano has been flying safely since its first flight, in 2016. Every passenger receives a safety briefing covering emergency procedures and the correct use of headphones and seat belts. Smartphones and cameras must be secured with neck or wrist straps, and loose items go in the hold or the under-seat compartments. The DOT and FAA have banned Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones from all aircraft.
