Tenuta Torciano hosted the first stage of the Gran Turismo Toscana, an annual “Road Trip” organized as usual by Gran Turismo Events. A luxury weekend in Tuscany, with a beautiful road trip from Florence to Chianti, Montepulciano, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Lucca, for a total of 500 km and 27 Super Cars!
One of the most beautiful places on the planet. The hilly nature, the vineyards and the food. Oh, and lets not forget about all the insanely nice roads for a fast car. The event started in Florence, from the Hotel Il Salviatino (beautifully situated on the hills of Fiesole) with a view of the city, to move to the winding Chianti roads the next day. On board a Super Car these roads are heaven on earth, like lunch in the Tenuta Torciano vineyard which was attended by all the members of this magnificent tour.
The owner Pierluigi Giachi welcomed the 27 Super Cars for a visit of the winery and vineyards followed by a lunch with tasting among the rows, still rich in grapes. Our guests were able to taste all the best wines of the cellar, combined with typical Tuscan dishes, surrounded by nature and green vineyards. A relaxing and informative stop in the Tuscan countryside before departing towards Volterra and south of Grosseto. Another great event of Super Cars, Roads, Hotels and Food in the most beautiful places in Italy, always in collaboration with Tenuta Torciano, San Gimignano.
