Vegetable Beef Soup

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cans of tomato;
  2. 2 cups of beans, different varieties;
  3. 200 g (7 oz) Pasta, small format;
  4. 1 pound ground beef;
  5. 175 g (6 oz) pork sausage meat;
  6. 1 carrot;
  7. 1 onion;
  8. 1 garlic;
  9. 2 cups water;
  10. 1 celery;
  11. 3 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil;
  12. 1 teaspoon salt.

In a saucepan pour in the extra virgin olive oil, sauté carrots, celery, garlic, onion for a few seconds, and then add the ground beef and pork sausage meat.

Immediately after, pour the tomato sauce, salt, water and beans, cook for about 45 minutes.

At this point, add the pasta and cook according to the package directions.

Simmer over low until flavors are well blended and soup is hot.
