Waiting for the next season of the Wine School in America by Tenuta Torciano it is always a pleasure to discover the reviews or articles that our customers write about our events in the United States just passed.

Our friend Jennifer wanted to write about us on Classic Style Home, the website managed by her, after the great success of the “new terrace” wine tasting party with Chiara and our Wine School.

Jennifer who had visited the estate with her husband last summer, decided to organize a real wine showcase on the new house terrace for a wine tasting party by the pool in the company of many friends. The goal was to bring home some of the magic of Tuscany by recreating a magical corner with the cypress trees behind the pool that were the setting for a different and special evening, out of the usual routine, together Italian good wine. And it seems that the event has been a great success: the guests of Jennifer, in fact, had a lot of fun, they tasted many wines and thanks to wine & food pairing and the perfect organization of the evening they felt, just for a night, in the middle of Italy, with the magic of Tuscan tradition.

Thank you to all the friends across the States that organized and are planning to do a Wine School with us! It is a real honor for my family, my staff and me to enter in your house and bring a piece of Italy with my wines and oils. Each time it’s a great emotion to do a wine class and enjoy with all of you our passion for wine and Italy.

We always start the tasting with a white wine called Vernaccia di San Gimignano, straw yellow color tending to golden with age. Fine, penetrating, fresh, fruity bouquet and a delicate, fruity flavour with a characteristic bitterish aftertaste.

Then it’s time to  taste the red wines, first a young wine as Chianti, then more aged as Chianti Classico. We continue the wine tasting with our famous Rosso Toscana: Baldassarre, Cavaliere and Bartolomeo. Of course you will anso taste our excellent Brunello di Montalcino. Don’t forget to taste our cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, truffle oil and our gold reserve of balsamic vinegar!
