A day to spend in Siena

Among the many wonders to visit in Italy, there is definitely the city of Siena, famous worldwide for "Il Palio".

Beyond its architectural beauty, Siena owes its fame to this historical event, held every year on 2nd July and 16th August. In the Palio of Siena, 10 districts challenge each other in a horse race that takes place in the city's main square, Piazza del Campo.
